Photography Classes to Start Off the New Year Right

Photography Classes to Start Off the New Year Right

This past weekend we had a great start to the year with people packed into our Photography 101 & 102 classes. With everyone getting cameras for the holidays and receiving our gift certificates as gifts we saw lots of people who have made a new years resolution to get started with improving their photography skills. Photography 101 was packed to max capacity and was an absolute success with tons of great questions and some fun photos being taken during the hands on activity. Photography 102 was an in depth learning experience for everyone involved. We had every single type of camera from point n shoots to compact cameras, mirrorless and DSLR's. It was a great learning experience for everyone involved.
We even had our Flash Photography 101 class with a core group of eager students looking to learn more about their flashes. With the small class size we were able to get hands on with everyone's flashes and how to get the most from their flashes. Here are some photos of Gerald who was kind enough to model for us as we used a variety of different light modifiers for an off-camera flash. Check out the results. All of the photos were shot at f/8 1/160th ISO 200 and flash power of 1/16th.
