It’s time to put the spotlight on your portrait  photography with our one light – two light class! Are you ready  to take your portrait photography to the next level? Can you believe it is as simple as adding one light? With the help of instructor Jon Campbell, who has over 20  years experience in photography, you will leave  this workshop with a great understanding of portraiture lighting and the ability to expertly light your photos with amazing  techniques!

This class will be a study of light and how to put  it to use in portraiture. Jon will show you how to  use the light’s quality and direction to produce  glamour images as well as portraits that give the  subject depth and dimension. As we will be  working with a live model, you will also learn how  to direct a model/client so that the images you  create help the subject look their best. Gain the  experience you have been looking for with a small workshop and plenty of hands-on experience with the equipment and the model to produce truly extraordinary photos.

This course will show you how to make portrait images with professional results. We will be using simple and effective lighting techniques, using one and two-light setups that work every time. If you can learn to work with only one light source, you can work in any environment, indoors or out. We will be using flash lighting to produce amazing images with impact.

The techniques we will use are simple, and will apply to any lighting source you happen to have at your disposal.

For those of you looking to step up your photography skills and gain some valuable experience then this is a must take class. It will provide all of the appropriate knowledge you need to enhance your images using flash portrait photography.

Please Note:

*Please have already taken Photography 102 or be comfortable manipulating your camera’s manual settings.
*Please bring: SLR camera, charged up and ready to go and a Pocket Wizard if you have one.
