Free Local Photography Events

Our mission has always been to give photographers like you the necessary tools to improve their photography, thus improving the world's photography. One way we do this is by creating an environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your photos, critiquing photos so that you can improve your craft, and enjoying your photography with others who share your interests. We host regular, monthly free events that give you the opportunity to meet and collaborate with people trying to improve their photography just like you. Each free local photography event is different, and serves a unique purpose so that you can decide what's best for you. Our free events consist of, but are not limited to:
  • Monthly Free Meet & Critique - a free monthly event where anyone can join us at the studio for the opportunity to share 2-10 photos they have captured and receive constructive feedback.
  • Challenge Nights - free events where you are paired up with fellow photographers and given a photography challenge to go out and shoot. These challenges are meant to help you understand a very specific photography skill and be able to execute it.
  • Quarterly Learn-a-Thons - a massive free event with lots of learning and teaching going on. You are put into teams of 3-4 photographers, all at different skill levels, and sent out to achieve a specific photography challenge. Each person is given a challenge and has to accomplish the task with the support of their team. Upon completion, an individual will be selected to teach the rest of the group in attendance how they achieved their challenge and how they can do it for themselves. This is, hands down, the best event ever designed to make you better at taking photos.
  • Photographer in Training Program - Every so often we open enrollment into our Photographer in Training Program where we host a free event giving you the first course of twelve absolutely free. This event is designed for those of you considering what it takes to become a professional photographer by making an income solely from photography.
  • You can see a list of upcoming free local photography events on the right and register for any one of the courses. They are free to everyone. However, you should sign up sooner than later because they do fill up fast!
